Planning for this subdivision is still in its beginning stages.  We are currently working with our engineers on the plat and our attorneys are working to finalize the covenants.  Some items and lot prices are subject to change but as of now, here is a brief overview of the subdivision:

  • Minimum home size - 1100 square feet (ranch) & 1400 square feet (two-story)
    • You don't have to build a $250,000 home to live in this subdivision
  • 50% brick on front
    • We want you to build a home economically so we don't require 100% brick on the front
  • Two-car garage minimum
  • Most lots range from 85'-90' of frontage and 110' to 130' deep
    • These lots are the same size as other lots in Dubuque selling for $50,000 or more
  • Lots priced at:
    • $40,000 to $43,000 for walk-out
    • $38,000 to $39,500 for a non walk-out
  • Lots available in July timeframe
    • You can reserve a lot at any time.

As Dubuque's first "Green" subdivision, we hope to pioneer the next generation of residential new construction in Dubuque.  Our city leaders are strong proponents in curbing the effects of global warming and we are following their lead.  We hope that this subdivision in some small part can make a difference.
