Most people don't know that the average home is responsible for twice as many greenhouse gas emissions as the average car.  Most of the electricity we use at home comes from burning fossil fuels like coal and oil, which releases greenhouse gas emissions into our earth's atmostphere.  What this means is that we can each play a role in reducing these emissions.*

At English Ridge we will be offering three different incentive packages for "building green", which will award your home with a Silver, Gold or Platinum rating.  By following the package and installing the minimum items, you will receive cash back on your lot purchase and also will receive hundreds and possibly thousands of dollars back in the form of utility rebates/incentives, depending on which package you choose to follow.  Go to the Contact Info page to request more information.

It's important to note that although we are offering incentives for "building green", it is not a requirement for building a home in this subdivision.  It would be fantastic if you would follow one of the packages for your home, but you choose whether or not to actually build with energy efficient materials.
